ENLIGHTENMENT ON THE WATER
New to the market this week is Heesen’s 50m luxury motor yacht Satori, winner of two ‘World Yacht Trophies’ in Cannes and the prestigious ‘Prix du Design’ in Monaco.
In Japanese, ‘Satori’ is the spiritual goal of Zen Buddhism. Built in 2011 by the world renowned Dutch shipyard, this semi-custom superyacht combines sleek exterior lines, economical fuel capacity, high speeds and, living up to her name, a truly zen interior.
Arguably one of the most fuel efficient superyachts on the market, Satori can reach top speeds of up to 24 knots while an exterior by Frank Laupman from Omega Architects makes for the perfect balance of crisp and clean lines.
Satori’s interior features contrasting colours and materials, resulting in a sophisticated and well balanced decor. The large windows make for flowing natural light, showcasing Remi Tessier’s design to its best. The award winning French interior designer has created intelligent symmetrical interior design allows for dynamic configurations, with a combination of dining arrangements and easy guest navigation around the yacht. With a large master stateroom on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck, this luxury motor yacht can accommodate up to 10 guests in perfect style.
On deck, large exterior spaces provide plenty of room to enjoy sunbathing, al fresco dining, jacuzzi and general relaxation.
Satori is priced at $44 000 000.
