Proving that there’s more to yachting than the Riviera, new to the market this week is the 64 metre expedition yacht Turmoil.
Built at the Royal Denship shipyard in 2006, this is another excellent choice for off-the-beaten-track exploring.
Turmoil’s strengthened steel hull is built to resist ice floes and with a range of 6500 nautical miles powered by two 2 x Caterpillar 3516B-A2 2260 HP engines, Turmoil can take guests to the end of the world in style.
Three stand-out features that caught our attention: Turmoil can carry up to 16 guests in 8 staterooms, where most yachts of this size carry just 12. She sports a large helicopter deck allowing guests to come and go without the need to dock in port, wherever she is in the world. Finally, with a huge interior volume, Turmoil can carry 3 large tenders , making it just as easy for everyone onboard to head ashore and explore up-close the remote destinations this remarkable yacht can reach.
Below deck guests will discover an American cherry wood interior in a classic style. another rare layout feature is the owners suite, located under the pilothouse, giving the occupants access to a private space to relax on the aft deck and a beautiful observation lounge facing forward.
