Currently moored at Port Adriano, Mallorca, Luxury Sailing yacht Scorpione dei mari is a contemporary Tony Castro designed Jongert combining exceptional sailing performance with high specification interiors.
The original design brief for Scorpione dei mari was to build a performance cruising yacht that is both comfortable and reliable. With the ability to cruise long distances, the idea was that Scorpione dei mari would circumnavigate the globe, taking part in regattas along the way. Her exceptional build quality has been continuously serviced and updated, and carefully optimized to increase her performance ability in all locations and conditions.
Now based in the Mediterranean, she is the perfect year round sailing yacht, also regularly finishing on the podium of the racing circuit. The nature of Scorpione dei mari’s design means her low profile coach house salon, located near the helm station, is extremely sheltered in all conditions. This makes her ideal both for those wishing to be in the thick of the sailing, and those wanting to relax in the comfort and safety of this stylish teak-trimmed Salon. Forward of the salon is the crew area with a sophisticated galley which is separated from the spacious guest and owner accommodation to the aft, sleeping seven in style.
Scorpione dei mari is fully equipped with all additional extras required to be extremely competitive on the race course. These include a 3DL race sail inventory, a combination of PBO and Nitronic rigging, carbon mast and boom and a Code Zero furler. A performance yacht, capable of converting into a tranquil platform from which to watch the world go by.
Scorpione dei mari, moored at Port Adriano, is currently for sale at 7.4M EUR VAT paid and available for inspection upon request. She will also be on display at Mallorca Superyacht Days from 28th to 30th April 2012.
